Brakes
We utilize all recommended procedures. Did you know that improper wheel lug torque is the #1 cause of brake rotor vibration? We torque every wheel every time by hand. We use dial indicators to check brake rotor runout and micrometers to check minimum thickness variation to ensure the best job possible. If you have new brake rotors installed and they start vibrating in 5-6000 miles there is a more than likely chance the rotor had 5 thousandths runout when it left the shop. This is very common and avoidable with just a little extra step to ensure they have less than 2 thousandths runout. We strongly encourage quality brake parts to avoid noise, ensure long life, and increase stopping power.
Automatic Transmission Service
Heat is the main concern for ATF. Automatic transmissions create a lot of friction, and friction produces heat. The fluid is constantly churning inside the torque converter and being pumped through metering orifices and hydraulic circuits. Every time the transmission shifts gears, the clutch packs generate even more heat that must be carried away by the fluid. The greater the load on the transmission, the more heat it generates and the hotter the fluid gets. ATF contains ingredients to improve its oxidation stability as well as other additives to reduce foaming and inhibit corrosion. Over time, the protective additives can also break down causing the fluid’s lubrication properties and viscosity to change for the worse.

Tire Rotation
Tire rotations are important due to the front tires wearing a great deal faster than the rear. The outside edges wear much faster on the front due to when the front tires turn outside edges are the leading edge and they are rolled under at more aggressive turns. Wearing the front tires too soon causes safety issues on any vehicle but on All Wheel Drive vehicles it could even damage the driveline of the vehicle.
