We utilize all recommended procedures. Did you know that improper wheel lug torque is the #1 cause of brake rotor vibration? We torque every wheel every time by hand. We use dial indicators to check brake rotor runout and micrometers to check minimum thickness variation to ensure the best job possible. If you have new brake rotors installed and they start vibrating in 5-6000 miles there is a more than likely chance the rotor had 5 thousandths runout when it left the shop. This is very common and avoidable with just a little extra step to ensure they have less than 2 thousandths runout. We strongly encourage quality brake parts to avoid noise, short life and increase stopping power.
